The production processes of hot tub spa in HaloSpas

Step 1

Vacuum Forming:

First, place the mold and the corresponding size of acrylic sheet in the vacuum forming machine. After fixing them, send the acrylic sheet into the molding furnace for heating and softening. During this process, the mold is thoroughly cleaned by the professionals. After heating, the acrylic sheet reaches the required state, and the machine sends it to the top of the mold and applies vacuum forming to create a Hot Tub shell.

Step 2

Shell Reinforcement:

The formed spa shell is relatively fragile and requires further reinforcement. First, spray the outside of the shell body with vinyl ester resin, then apply three layers of fiberglass and pure resin to enhance the reinforcement effect. Finally, use a roller to exhaust and compress these reinforcing layers to ensure better adhesion. After reinforcement, the shell thickness is approximately 5 mm, the thickness of the hot tub edge is approximately 8 mm, and the thickness of the Swim Spa edge is approximately 12 mm.

Step 3

Curing in Temperature-controlled Box:

After the reinforcement treatment, the hot tub shell is somewhat moist. To ensure that the reinforcement layer is dried and to prevent the formation of bubbles, it is placed in a temperature-controlled box for drying to ensure complete curing of the Massage Spa.

Step 4

Spraying Insulation Layer:

After the shell of the Massage Hot Tub is completely dry, spray a 25mm high-density insulation foam on its surface to enhance the insulation performance of hot tub.

Step 5

Installation of Brackets and Cutting:

Before installing the parts of the Acrylic Spa Hot Tub, install stainless steel brackets to provide structural support and enhance the stability of the Spa Tub, then cut and grind the spa tub shell to install the parts.

Step 6

Installation of Components and Electrical Connection:

Install various parts of the Hot Tub Spa, as well as pump, control box, massage jet,etc., connect the pipelines, and connect the power lines.

Step 7

First Water Test and Debugging:

After installation, the Jacuzzi Spa undergoes the first water test and operation debugging for at least 6 hours to check for any water leaks or missed components, ensuring the normal operation of the jacuzzi spa.

Step 8

Installation of Skirt:

After confirming no anomalies during the initial water test, install a skirt for the hot tub spa to enhance its appearance and structural strength.

Step 9

Second Water Test and Debugging:

After installing the skirt, conduct a second water test for at least 3 hours to check and verify that each component has no water leaks or missed installations, ensuring the normal operation of all product functions.

Step 10

Drainage:

After completing the second water test, to prevent water residue in the pipelines, the hot tub is placed in a turning machine and rotated 360° several times to completely drain the water from the pipelines.

Step 11

Third Inspection and Cleaning:

The QC inspector conducts the third inspection to verify the normal operation of the system settings, lights, motors, etc. Additionally, to ensure a smooth and flawless surface the professionals then use specialized tools to polish the surface, removing any dust and dirt.

Step 12

Packaging:

To ensure the safe transportation of the product, we follow a professional and rigorous packaging process. First, we wrap EPE pearl cotton around the hot tub to provide primary protection. Then, we further wrap it with thicker EPE pearl cotton to enhance its protective performance. Next, we tightly wrap the entire hot tub (except the bottom) with plastic film and additionally cover it with a special dust-proof bag to ensure that the jacuzzi is not affected by moisture during transportation. Finally, an iron support frame is installed at the bottom of the packaged jacuzzi to facilitate unloading and transportation for the customer.
